NaPoWriMo 2020 #1

2 weeks of quarantine and I haven’t written poetry in months.

When the poetic mechanisms are this rusty

every line is a violent contrivance.

Every word chokes on my keyboard.

I hate this poem already

and I will hate many more.

  1. Ironically the poem I posted today I wrote when I woke up this morning and that is the first poem I’ve written this year. I have a file folder full of poems I yet to post. Seems I’m finding my muse while all the confusion and controversy is going on. Blessings and Peace to you. Thanks you sooo much for stopping by my site and I am glad you liked the poem.

  2. You know what they say, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” Apparently the poem that you wanted to throw away (it seems) created a connection with others. Keep writing and sharing your poems, whether they be ones you love, or ones you hate. 😉 Thank you for stopping by my blog.
